– art on and off the human body

Heidi Kettunen (b. 1996) is an artist living and working in Joensuu, Finland. Her artistic work focuses mainly on wearable art, searching its limits and boundaries.
Kettunen’s way of working is very material-based. Her works consist of a mixture of drawings, metal, clay, textiles, and other varied materials. The themes develop during the process, and usually revolve around humans in one way or another. The themes tie together with the physical and bodily nature of the pieces.
